The Issue?
In this case and out of control hobby. There was a world of wine to be discovered by enthusiasts, too many magazines, not enough easy to comprehend reviews. Instagram was in its peak phase of popularity and at the time the perfect platform to launch.
I wanted to explore growing an audience in Social Media with nothing but a focus on organic. Engagement, posting, formats, etc.
The Solution?
In 2016 the account was created on Instagram and mostly focus on first building a base layer with enough content to be seen as an account that would last.
The next phase would be building an audience and fanbase.
After that the focus could start to include connecting with more wineries and estates to start doing some co-ops and partnerships.
Fast forward to now and the account has grown to more than 18.000 followers, regular collaborations with various wineries.
Next phase?
App?
TikTok transition?
Who knows. Still a hobby, so when time allows.
